Old Red Barn Quilt Along Progress

Well I started off with a bang on the Old Red Barn quilt along but now I've fallen just a bit little behind. I do have all the squares joined together but not the rows. With only 2 days home this week there just wasn't enough time to sew and work in my flowers, and with the heat this week, the flowers had to come first. I have 10 days off starting Monday so I'm sure I can catch up and begin quilting by mid week. I'm using Woodstock fabrics from Benartex. Peace, Love and Funky Fabrics they say. I fell in love with the paisleys in this grouping when it came out years ago and added it to my stash, waiting for the right project to inspire me to make that first cut. The random piecing in this one is perfect! I'll take some pictures next week and join the flicker group for everyone to see. . .
