Oops!

Guess that goal to keep this blog updated really fell through! The problem was a not so little thing called WORK. Winter is a busy time for an ICU. So now it's nearly summer and all my free daylight hours are spent outside or on the water. This is really little work and lots of play season and I intend to do a lot of playing this year. DS will be spending most of his summer here before going to Barcelona in September. He's been on the opposite coast for the last four years, in school at PSU and working as an intern with the city of Portland. We've decided to spend this summer kicked back with family and friends. This is where I quit working extra shifts and enjoy the fact that my position only requires me to work 2 days a week. Add in a little vacation time and I'm only working 4 shifts a month! All too soon he'll be gone again, this time to a permanent job that will not have winter and summer breaks for long trips home . . .
